There is an APP named “AllShare” in my galaxy tab. Never used it before. Not really knowing how to use it really. Then started digging about this application from samsung. It is the samsung content sharing service from your mobile devices to any other devices. Cool, its an innovative thinking and this “AllShare” application can use with your laptop, desktop, even with your TV (WiFi supported), also with your LCD Projectors !!!!  You can share or display the videos, audios & pictures.

Its so simple. Switch ON  WiFi in your Galaxy TAB, enable “AllShare”. Similarly your laptop (Connected in your same WiFi network) should have installed the AllShare software, automatically either you can play the movie/picture from either of the machines.

If you are in a conference room, If your LCD Projector supports WiFi – simply you can play your content via allShare from your galaxy tab. Make sure the LCD Projector is compatible with WiFi & AllShare software. You can use your Galaxy tab as the remote for your LCD projector also. You never need to connect your VGA cable to your laptop, sitting at one place to explain your projects.

Similarly you can play the content from your Galaxy tab to your TV without any cable connections.  Presently the latest WiFi supported samsung televisions are working in this way it seems. Yet to test this personally. Not sure whether this wireless transmission is encrypted.

“AllShare” content media sharing options should be available to all electronic gadgets in coming years. You should be able to control any device to any device . Technology transformation is happening very fast and even much more convenient way.

i recently bought a samsung tab. after two days, i discovered other people’s photos have unknowing stored in my storage under viber folder. what exactly has happened? will there possibility your photos will be transferred unknowingly to other users? if it is, there must be a serious security issue using samsung tablets.
